Several clients have the need to post event photo albums to generate interest. They have blogs and want to be able to do it without paying someone to make a flash movie, or avoid using something clunky with all Javascript. I am a big Shutterfly.com fan. I use them for all of my 'scrapbook' needs, photo gifts and other projects. I also have a few share sites with them so my friends and family can download photos easily.
While searching for the photo album/slide show solution, I remembered the ability to share photo books on Shutterfly.
1. Register for a FREE shutterfly.com account.
2. Upload a few albums of photos by topic.
3. Create a "photo book" any size. I prefer the 8" square.
4. Fill in the photo book with your captions, stories, photos from events. If you are never printing them, use the one photo per page layout with caption.
5. Save and SHARE. When you share, you can choose the option to share on your website. They'll give you a link for the "code."
6. Copy the code and paste it into the HTML tab of your blog post or the code view of your website page.
7. Save, publish - SHARE.

You can also get a lot of coupons and free goodies from Shutterfly when you create a FREE share site. This is just like a website, but very scrapbook like. You also retain all rights to your photos, unlike FaceBook.
